April 13th, 2012-Brendan Nguyen
will premiere Clint's new piano and electonics piece (title
forthcoming) at 8pm in the UCSD Conrad Prebys Music Center Black Box.
March 9th and 10th-Ensemble Ictus will premiere Clint's new electric ensemble piece April Eighteenth 1993, Waco, Texas, at the Kaai Theater in Brussels. Clint will be there, tasting beer and cheese!!!
February 28, 2012-Leah Bowden will premiere Clint's new percussion solo Imploding Sent In Bomb, at 8pm in the UCSD Conrad Prebys Music Center Black Box.
February 24, 2012-Berglind María Tómastottír and Leslie Ann Leythem will premiere Clint's new flute and voice duo Twinzies, at 8pm in the UCSD Conrad Prebys Music Center Black Box.
February 15, 2012-At 9:30 west coast time, Clint will be playing new
electric guitar and bass music with Nick Deyoe on the awesome
experimental music series Ear Meal on LAArtStream. Streaming live around the world!!!
February 10, 2012-The La Jolla Symphony Orchestra will be premiering still getting rid of (Version B), a composition by Nick Deyoe that sets a new set of poems by Clint. Check out a recording here. December 30, 2011-Akron Homecoming!!! The beastly Brooklyn percussionist Dennis Sullivan will be performing Clint's onanspazautonomotor at The Spot (27 North High Street, Akron OH). Show starts at 9pm.
December 20, 2011-Martin Losert and Ernst Surberg of Ensemble Mosaik will be performing Clint's in a hall of mirrors waiting to die in Stuttgart: Theaterhaus Stuttgart P1 Siemensstr 11.
December 3, 2011-Clint will be performing his piece onanspazautonomotor
for electric guitar in New York City. The concert is all electric
guitar music and will feature performances by Geof Holbrook, Bryan

September 21, 2011-The amazing film verion of Meat Your Mirror, filmed and edited by Anna Chiaretta Lavatelli and Miki Davis, was screened at the CalIT art happy hour. Watch it and see if you can resist sending it to your friends...
September 11, 2011-Clint finished a new composition comissioned by the profoundly bad-ass Belgian ensemble Ictus. It's ofr voice, sax, synthesizer, drumset, electric guitar and electric bass. It's titled April Eighteenth 1993, Waco, Texas. Guess the topic and win a free clintophonics t-shirt!!!
July 24, 2011-Clint finished a new solo percussion piece--Imploding Sentin Bomb: for 1 person playing vibes and drumset--on this day, his birthday!
May 29, 2011-Clint's composition in
a hall of mirrors waiting to die continues to be a hit
state-side and abroad. It will be played by Ensemble Mosaik on June 14,
2011 in Berlin, and then by Ensemble Nikel on
July 8, 2011 in Tel Aviv!!!
May 26, 2011-Jonathan Piper premiered Clint's new composition, Jejumum Pummeller, for amplified
tuba and drum-machine. Recording forthcoming.
May 22, 2011-The AQUAPUKE website got a make over, and there are some beautiful new recordings to listening to there.
April 15, 2011-NPR included Clint on its eclectic list of 100
composers under 40.
April 12, 2011-Clint's new composition, Final Girl 1, was premiered by
Jess Aszodi, Leslie Leytham, Meghann Welsh, and Stephanie Aston. The
piece involves the three woman screaming throughout, interpreting
various emotional adjectives. The score

have been posted!!!
March 4, 2011-Clint premiered an original performance piece titled Your Thirty Three Years Are Up as
a contribution to the Archive Fever performance/art series at the
University Art Gallery of UCSD. He was joined by Leah Bowden and Eric
Derr on drumset, and Jonathan Piper, Paul Hembre, and Sean Conway on

December 6, 2010-Clint passed his qualification examinations, making
him one step closer to the title of Doctor Clint. In order to fulfill
the requirements he wrote three substantial papers: on ascending
melodies in electronic dance music; on his re-enactment of Freeing the Voice and Lacanian
psychoanalysis; and on three of his own compositions and their
theoretical connections to anatomy, the butterflies, performance
anxiety, masturbation, and horror movies. We'll post these papers as
soon as our editors clean up the typos.
October 29, 2010-Clint re-enacted Marina Abramovic's epic 1972
performance piece Freeing the Voice.
He laid on his back and screamed until he lost his voice (which
took a little more then ninety minutes). Listen to the recording here.

compound. We finally got the ok to post Clint's infamous grindcore (he

July 17-31, 2010-Clint will be at
the Darmstadt Musikinstitut where his new piece, they don't make that part anymore (for
soprano saxophone, percussion, and electric guitar), will be premiered
by Ryan Muncy,
Dennis Sullivan, and
Matthias Koole on July
30th in the Oranjerie.

April 9, 2010-violinist Batya MacAdam-Somer wil premiere were running through the woods,
Clint's new violin solo, at the Conrad Prebys concert hall at UCSD at
8pm. The piece is based on Clint's Messiaenic transcriptions of women
screaming in his favorite horror movies.
The LA
Times
reviewed
the Monday Evening Concerts program and gave Clint his first blurb:
"He's a Coloradan who studied at UC San Diego but has not lost his
cowboy hat." (Note: article title should read "Blood on the Keyboard in
Zipper Hall." Which did happen courtesy of piano brutalizer
Eric Wubbels. Eric played Webern immediately afterwards, so it's
kind of like Clint bled on Webern).
January 11, 2009-In
a
Hall of Mirrors Waiting to Die, Clint's peice for soprano
saxophone and piano, gets its Los Angeles premeire on the always
awesome concert series Monday

A new piece by Clint titled Back
through the Window-Gaze: Hommage a Chris Burden will
be premiered by the man himself on a fabulous concert curated by the
amazing Carolyn Chen on Sunday May 17 at the Conrad Prebys Music
building at UCSD...bring your goggles!
Clint will premere a new version of a peice for violin, tape, and
dancers with Ashley Bowman (choreography) and Benny Nisbet (violin) in
Tuscon on May 9 and 10
April 23, 2009-A new percussion duo with motorized bowing machines,
written for Red Fish Blue Fish, titled 3 Years and 4 Months Waiting in
the Mud is finished and recorded. Final mix is coming
